AAMI Park Stadium, Melbourne - Product Design - Lighting
This visually compelling and content driven facade was the winner of a competition to design artistic content for the Melbourne AAMI Park Stadium project. The LED feature lighting scheme to the façade of the stadium exceeded the judging panel’s expectations of what could be achieved for both stadium architecture and the Melbourne public. Electrolight approached the design from a conceptual point of view, considering the sporting, historical and cultural contexts surrounding the stadium. Located in the heart of Melbourne's sporting precinct the scheme was designed to create a visual and metaphorical link to the surrounding precincts; Arts, Gardens and CBD.
AAMI Park Stadium - Roof LED Luminaire - Product Design - Lighting
AAMI Park (Melbourne Rectangular Stadium) is the latest addition to Melbourne's sport and entertainment precinct. It's unique lightweight steel bioframe design is a real highlight during the day, but now boasts a stunning permanent light show never before seen in Australia thanks to a clever product designed by local LED specialists Space Cannon Australia.
Fractal Cloud - Product Design - Lighting
A paradox you can touch. The fractal cloud is every bit as beautifully organic as it is diabolically mathematical. The various facets comprising this ultra modern linear pendant are apparently random, however, afford a precise balance in both visual and physical properties. The angled profile is conducive to haphazard cluster arrangements, creative tessellation and simple end-to-end linear arrays. An energy efficient 1200mm T5 fluorescent tube, or optional Hi Flux LEDs are concealed within the floating, luminous mass of angles, vertices and equations. Euclid would be proud.
Falling Leaf Commercial Lighting - Product Design - Lighting
The falling leaf lighting concept is an industrial feature for an interior space. The light fitting itself is designed to be part of a suite of varied size leaf light fittings. The light fitting uses 12 volt LED's, thirty polished aluminium profiles and fibreglass mouldings. The profiles are spaced 30mm apart with two LEDs spaced between each profile. The polished finish provides 80 percent reflectance all light produced by the fitting.
