AWARD WINNERS & FINALISTS ANNOUNCED
MEDIA RELEASE

MELBOURNE: 04/03/2011: The Melbourne Design Awards Winner and Finalists have now been announced.

170 of Melbourne’s design commissioners, creators and followers gathered in a relaxed atmosphere to witness the reveal of the 2010 Melbourne Design Award recipients, as voted for by Melbourne and Australia’s own Design Community. Awards winners were presented with two award trophies, recognising the important contribution of not only the designers/creators but also the project commissioners.

Voting Now Open

The voting phase of the Melbourne Design Awards is now open. From Monday the 6th of December until the Sunday 13th of February, design professionals and the design interested public are able to participate in the democratic design process by casting their vote in the awards.

Melbourne Design Awards Welcomes Partners / Change in Awards Program Dates - MEDIA RELEASE

Awards celebrate and honour best in design across more than fifty categories

The Melbourne Design Awards (MDA) are delighted to welcome its partners. All partners have a strong affiliation with design and complement the Award’s focus on supporting innovation and creativity.

Mark Bergin, Creative Director of MDA said, “To see an inaugural event grow dramatically in its first month is a fantastic result. This has largely come from the support of our industry and commercial partners and we look forward to a successful program together”.

Entries Open to Melbourne Design Awards - MEDIA RELEASE

Awards celebrate and honour best in design across more than fifty categories

MELBOURNE – 27.09.10: Entries have opened to the Melbourne Design Awards (MDA) – a new awards program in association with the Design Institute of Australia (Victorian Branch) that honours Melbourne’s best design across more than fifty categories. The MDA will culminate with a gala ceremony announcing the winners on 8th December 2010.
